The reading section is divided into 3 – 4 passages on academic subjects consisting of history & literature, science and social-science based topics. Each passage has between 12 -14 questions and you need to complete each set of questions in approximately 20 minutes.

The first step is to familiarize yourself with the full range of questions types you will face and understand how to identify the key words in the questions that will lead you to the answers. You need to know how to read with purpose; this is the ability to speed read, scanning the text to identify key information quickly and find the correct answer through a process of elimination.
